Bronson Roth's seizures began at birth. Over the course of the first three years of his life, Bronson would suffer from as many as 150 seizures a day. Desperate to help their son, Tricia and Brent Roth sought out UF Health Neurologist and Epileptologist Edgard Andrade M.D., who recommended that Bronson go on a ketogenic diet. The strict diet that Bronson must follow has helped steadily reduce his seizures over the last two years and most days are free of the violent seizures that once dominated his life. “The ketogenic diet worked for him,” Tricia Roth said. “That was our last option, so I’m glad that it actually worked. Because that was it for us.”
